OUR HISTORY
Austech Facades is an Australian owned company, established in 2003 by our current Directors Alex Imvriotis and CY Lim. Our Directors have been in the aluminium and glass facade industry for 35 years and have extensive experience in aluminium facade system design and architectural glass.
Austech Facades specialises in facade system design and installation of unitised curtain wall facades, high performance window wall facades and shopfront facades for multistorey commercial and residential buildings.
Austech Facades manufacture from our own facilities in China. Most of our competitors operate using third party facade system design and facade manufacturers to produce their facade systems. Austech Facades manufacturing facilities are strictly used for export market only.

GOVERNANCE
Austech Facades operate by using an integrated Management System covering Quality Management ISO 9001, Work Health and Safety Management AS/NZS 4801 and Environmental ISO 14001. Our aim is to establish, document, implement and maintain the Integrated Management System by continually improving its effectiveness in accordance with all three Standards.
Our systems are regularly reviewed and audited internally and by third party consultants to ensure system compliance and to identify areas of continuous improvement in the delivery of our services.
Austech Facades, their suppliers, subcontractors and consultants comply with the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry and the NSW Government Code of Practice for Procurement.
DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT
Austech Facades offers a complete range of service and procurement models for our clients. These include using our existing library of unitised curtain wall facade systems, window wall facade systems, shopfront facade systems or a complete new designed bespoke facade system.
Austech Facades recognises that facade system design is layered and ever-changing. The integration of structure and facade system design is extremely important, so Austech Facades works together with their clients consultants to achieve the documented design intent outcome, in the most innovative and cost efficient way.
FABRICATION AND ENGINEERING
You deal directly with the owners of the façade fabrication company, there is no middleman. Our fabrication facility was created in 2008 to directly service Austech Facades fabrication needs, this makes our work cost effective and ensures we can monitor and maintain the high-quality standards required for our products.
Our intimate relationship with our suppliers ensures we can always deliver quality and on time facade systems to our clients. Our factory’s focus is ONLY on the export market, and to all relevant International Standards.
All our facade systems are engineered and certified by global third-party facade engineer firms. We have been working closely with them since 2007. The Inhabit Group is familiar with all our facade systems and can provide certification in any country our facade systems are supplied and/or installed.
LOGISTICS AND INSTALLATION
Austech Facades experience in exporting facade products all over the world, understand that packaging is extremely important. It needs to be cost effective, material handling safe onsite and environmentally aware. As a result, we have designed and engineered steel material handling stillages that can be broken down and reused. Our aim is to eliminate the use of timber packaging. This means no need for fumigation using chemical pesticides, imposing on natural resources and the reduction of waste/rubbish on site.
Austech Facades only use premier installers, this ensures all unitised curtain wall facades and window wall facades are installed by an experienced team of installers. What use is it if you have a great facade, but it hasn’t been installed by a great facade installer? The detail required in this process is often the difference between a good facade and an overall great facade.
SUPPLY ONLY OPTION
Austech Facades can offer fabrication, engineering and certification of tested Austech Facades facade systems delivered door to door.
We can also fabricate your own facade system and deliver door to door. Our supply-only options are adaptable to our client’s requirements and are all fully warranted. In addition, we can offer onsite training and consulting to our facade installers to ensure the facade systems are installed correctly.
